Main Duties and Responsibilities

1/Sales Strategy Development:

-Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company sales targets and objectives.

-Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.

-Identify key target markets and develop strategies to penetrate and expand market share.

-Identify market opportunities, trends, and customer needs to drive sales growth.

-Set sales targets and KPIs for the sales team, and regularly monitor performance to ensure goals are met or exceeded.

-Creating a sales plan that outlines the steps needed to achieve the targets.

-Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify areas for improvement and stay ahead of the competition.

2/Customer Relationship Management:

-Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, and customers in the market.

-Conduct regular meetings and business reviews with customers to understand their needs and ensure customer satisfaction.

-Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.

-Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional strategies and campaigns to drive sales.

-Ensure timely and accurate response to customer inquiries and concerns.

3/Sales Planning, Performance Analysis and Reporting:

-Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets based on market trends, historical data, and business objectives by collaborating with related stakeholders and operations team.

-Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and generate reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

-Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, recommendations, and competitors’ activities.

-Provide insights and recommendations to enhance sales strategies and tactics.

-Monitor sales performance against targets and take corrective actions when necessary.

-Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may hinder sales performance.

4/Sales Operations:

-Develop and implement sales processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective sales operations.

-Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.

-Oversee the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring effective sales pipeline management.

-Streamline sales processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.

-Develop and implement sales policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance and consistency across the sales team.

-Implement and monitor sales tools and CRM systems to optimize sales performance and data analysis.

5/Cross-functional Collaboration:

-Collaborate closely with other departments, such as marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.

-Provide input and insights into product development, pricing strategies, and market positioning.

6/Leadership and Development

-Be responsible for talent acquisition, personnel matters, training, development, and mentorship.

-Establish an environment that fosters continuous learning and development of their team by providing staff with clear goals and expectations.

-Set clear sales objectives and targets for team members, and regularly review and evaluate their performance.

-Build and lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize their potential.

-Develop and implement training programs to enhance the sales team’s skills and knowledge.

7/Another task might be assigned by the Management team from time to time.

 

QUALIFICATION / experiences

-Bachelor’s degree in business administration and/or Sales & Marketing.

-At least 7 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG sector

-Proven track record of leading and managing sales teams and achieving sales targets.
