Main Duties and Responsibilities
1/Sales Strategy Execution
-Implement sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and market share objectives in the assigned general trade and provincial markets.
-Identify growth opportunities in assigned territories and develop action plans to capitalize on them.
-Ensure the alignment of area sales activities with broader company goals
2/Distributor, Wholesaler and Retailer Management
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers and retailers to ensure product availability and compliance agreements.
-Monitor sales performance of the assigned distributors and wholesalers, including inventory levels, sales trends, and financial health, and take corrective actions as needed.
-Negotiate terms and agreements with key trade partners to maximize sales opportunities.
3/ Sales Team Management
-Lead, train, and motivate field sales teams under supervision to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
-Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and address training needs.
-Plan and assign sales activities, routes, and schedules to optimize team efficiency.
4/ Market Development and Customer Engagement
-Conduct market visits to understand customer needs, gather insights, and evaluate competitor activities.
-Drive product promotions, trade marketing initiatives, and other sales activities to increase brand visibility and consumer engagement.
-Address customer complaints and concerns promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
5/ Data Analysis and Reporting
– Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer data to identify opportunities for improvement.
-Prepare and present regular reports on sales achievements, market conditions, and challenges.
-Use insights from data to forecast sales and allocate resources effectively.
6/ Any other tasks that may be assigned by the Head of Sales and Management from time to time.
QUALIFICATION / experiences
-Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or business management or related
-5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the FMCG or beverage industry.
-Proven track record in general trade sales and managing provincial markets.
